Rationale
More and more people are living under constant stress. This stress could very well be a hazard to their over-all health and enjoyment of life. Stress is always with us so we want to learn to cope with it in a positive way.
Objectives
This eight session course will look at aspects of one's life that may be causing physical symptoms of stress. Participants will be given tools in the form of relaxation techniques. The participants will learn to improve coping techniques, will recognize when they may be creating their own stress and learn to minimize negative self-talk and worrying. It is hoped that be applying these techniques and tools, the participant will learn to manage the stress in their life.
