Call and inquire if a bed is available. Staff will complete a quick screening over the phone to ensure it is safe for the individual to detoxify at the Centre. If an individual is referred or arrives at the Balmoral Centre withdrawal management program with health concerns, they are referred for medical/psychiatric treatment to an Emergency department. Referrals can be made anytime, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
