RAI-MH - Mental Health Assessment Protocols (MHAPS)

On completion of the Minimum Data Set-Mental Health (MDS-MH), a comprehensive list of Mental Health Assessment Protocols (MHAPs) is generated. This list is unique to the patient and reflects the information that has been entered into the MDS-MH. Each of these protocols generated serves to highlight any potential areas of concern that may impact the delivery of care to the patient and also influence the discharge planning process.
