Café Scientifique - In the Driver's Seat: Supporting the Mobility Needs of Older Adults

Transportation is key to helping older adults remain active in the community and live in their own homes. However, we know that as people age, driving a car can become challenging. We need to find ways to support the mobility needs of older adults and ensure that our community is "age friendly". Have a coffee and join in a lively discussion about these issues with local, national and international experts.

'It's Not About Food': Recovery from an Eating Disorder

The youth advisory group to the Eating Disorder Program at St. Joseph's Care Group invites youth, parents and teachers to a short presentation about living with and recovering from an eating disorder. Questions like "What is actually going on? How can I help? Does it ever go away?" will be answered. Body image, self-esteem and the media will also be explored.

"A Day in the Life..." - Experience the Journey of Neurology Rehabilitation

Living Well with Diabetes: Prevention, Risk Factors and Management

This session will take you through the risk factors for diabetes and discuss ways to decrease your risk of diabetes with reasonable changes in lifestyle. If you don't have diabetes, it's never too late to make changes in your life that will make a difference.

Coping with Change in the Workplace: Promoting Personal Happiness
