Café Scientifique - In the Driver's Seat: Supporting the Mobility Needs of Older Adults

Transportation is key to helping older adults remain active in the community and live in their own homes. However, we know that as people age, driving a car can become challenging. We need to find ways to support the mobility needs of older adults and ensure that our community is "age friendly". Have a coffee and join in a lively discussion about these issues with local, national and international experts.
'It's Not About Food': Recovery from an Eating Disorder

The youth advisory group to the Eating Disorder Program at St. Joseph's Care Group invites youth, parents and teachers to a short presentation about living with and recovering from an eating disorder. Questions like "What is actually going on? How can I help? Does it ever go away?" will be answered. Body image, self-esteem and the media will also be explored.

Living Well with Diabetes: Prevention, Risk Factors and Management
