Withdrawal Management Program Expansion - Balmoral Centre

On Thursday, February 14, 2013, the North West Local Health Integration Network announced that St. Joseph’s Care Group will receive funding for a two-year pilot project to facilitate expansion of Withdrawal Management Program located at Balmoral Centre.
This new investment, along with existing resources, will support the development of medically supported withdrawal management services in response to unmet client and community needs. The primary goals of the pilot project are to enhance access to crisis withdrawal management and stabilization services, enhance the quality and safety of client-centred care, and reduce visits to the emergency department.
