St. Joseph's Care Group Welcomes New Chief of Staff

St. Joseph's Care Group’s Board of Directors has appointed Dr. Peter de Bakker as Chief of Staff to the approximately 430 physicians and professional staff affiliated with St. Joseph’s Care Group.

A geriatrician and internal medicine specialist, Dr. de Bakker is a familiar face at St. Joseph’s Care Group where he currently serves as the Senior Medical Director for Complex Care and Chronic Disease Management.

“It is a pleasure to welcome Dr. de Bakker as our new Chief of Staff,” said Tracy Buckler, President & CEO of St. Joseph’s Care Group. “He is a respected leader, and a champion of providing exceptional client-centred care.”

Dr. de Bakker will transition to his new role in late June 2021 with the retirement of current Chief of Staff, Dr. Geoff Davis.
