COVID-19 Outbreak Declared at St. Joseph's Hospital Expanded to include 5 South

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) and St. Joseph's Care Group confirm that the COVID-19 outbreak declared on September 26, 2022 at St. Joseph's Hospital, 5 North, Geriatric Assessment & Rehabilitative Services, in Thunder Bay, has been expanded to include 5 South.

TBDHU continues to work with St. Joseph's Care Group to manage the outbreak.

Prior to the outbreak, significant measures were already in place to reduce likelihood of transmission of the virus within the facility.
