Voluntary Integration with Crossroads Centre

Thunder Bay, ON - Earlier this year, the Board of Directors of Crossroads Centre Inc. (Crossroads Centre) made the decision to explore opportunities to integrate with other service providers within the community. On December 13, 2023, Ontario Health approved the voluntary integration of Crossroads Centre with St. Joseph's Care Group, where it will fit seamlessly with the continuum of mental health and addiction services offered.

"We extend a sincere message of appreciation to the staff of Crossroads Centre for their dedication through the uncertainty that comes with change, and their commitment to people in recovery," said Serena Dykstra, Chair of Crossroads Centre's Board of Directors. "For clients of Crossroads Centre, treatment will continue without interruption."

St. Joseph's Care Group has been a longtime partner of Crossroads Centre, most recently providing site management services to the operation.

Janine Black, President & CEO of St. Joseph's Care Group anticipates that full integration will be complete by March 31, 2024. "On behalf of St. Joseph's Care Group, we wish to thank Crossroads Centre for entrusting us with a legacy of excellence in recovery services spanning nearly 60 years."
