SJCG Board of Directors Welcomes New Chair & Vice Chair

St. Joseph's Care Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Roberta Simpson as Chair to our Board of Directors.
"This is an exciting time for St. Joseph's Care Group," said Roberta. "In June, a new Strategic Plan was launched. It's an innovative plan, supporting and enabling transformation while always keeping people at the centre of our work. I am pleased to work alongside an experienced and talented Board of Directors, continuing a tradition of commitment to healthcare in our community."
Roberta joined St. Joseph's Care Group's Board of Directors in September 2018. During that time, she has held a number of roles including as Vice Chair (2022-2024), Chair of Board Quality, Safety & Risk Committee (2023-2024), Chair of the Finance & Audit Committee (2020-2023), Board Representative on St. Joseph's Foundation of Thunder Bay's Board of Directors (2022-2024), and has been an active member of other Board committees. Her experience includes more than 35 years in the banking industry, as well as a longstanding commitment to volunteerism.
The role of Vice Chair has been appointed to Deb Comuzzi, who joined St. Joseph's Care Group's Board of Directors in 2023. Deb brings a wealth of experience at the executive level in healthcare and education sectors, and has been a lifelong champion of volunteering and volunteerism to grow community.
