Temporary Masking Measures Ending for Cold/Flu Season 2025-2026

Temporary Masking Ends

Thank you for helping to keep each other safe this cold and flu season.

Cold and flu season is coming to an end, and in response, we're making some changes.

Effective immediately, St. Joseph's Care Group will no longer have to wear masks while providing direct care to clients. Wearing masks was an extra layer of precaution that we took to reduce the likelihood of transmission this cold and flu season.

All spaces continue to be mask-friendly, and we ask that everyone entering our sites continue to self-screen for symptoms. Wearing a mask is just one of the ways we can stop the spread of preventable illness. As a gentle reminder, we ask everyone entering one of our sites to:

  • Self-Screen for illness and symptoms before entering, and stay home when not feeling well.
  • Clean your hands often.
  • Follow all precautions and instruction from staff in the event that you are visiting an area that is experiencing an outbreak.

Please note that where masking is required due to active outbreaks, the requirement(s) will remain in effect.

Thank you for helping keep our staff, clients and residents, volunteers, and visitors safe throughout the 2025-2026 cold and flu season.
