Annual Meeting Held for St. Joseph's Care Group's Board of Directors

St. Joseph's Care Group Board of Directors held their Annual Meeting and released the new Strategic Plan 2012-2015, Wednesday, June 27, 2012 in the Georgian Room at St. Joseph's Heritage.
The Board of Directors approved the following appointment of Officers for 2012 - 2013:
- Ray Halverson, Chair
- Gary Johnson, Vice Chair
- Tracy Buckler, Secretary
- Linda Pauluik, Treasurer
- Myrna Letourneau, Past Chair
Ray Halverson, Chair, Board of Directors, St. Joseph's Care Group (SJCG) stated, "A primary focus of this year was dedicated to review and refresh of our Strategic Plan for 2012-2015. The new plan is laser focused on the people we serve." In his address to those in attendance he said "I would like to extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to my fellow Board Members, Tracy Buckler, her Leadership Team, the Professional Staff, our employees and volunteers for their commitment and service to St. Joseph's Care Group."
The Strategic Plan includes a renewed Mission, Vision, and Core Values. The four new Strategic Priorities are: Client-Centred Care, Seniors' Care, Chronic Disease and Mental Health & Addictions. There are also Corporate Principles to guide the work of the Care Group, and Strategic Enablers which will support the achievement of the four priorities.
Tracy Buckler, President & CEO, SJCG, said, "Our Strategic Plan will assist us to ensure that we continue to meet the needs of the people in this vast and diverse region we serve."
St. Joseph's Care Group is a values-driven organization, which believes in treating all people with Care, Compassion and Commitment. Programs and services are provided to meet the needs of the people in the Districts of Thunder Bay and Kenora-Rainy River. Services are provided in complex care & physical rehabilitation, mental health & addictions and long-term care.
