Hogarth Riverview Manor (HRM) will open its doors in the fall of 2015. Volunteer help is greatly needed to assist staff to ensure residents experience a smooth, safe, and seamless transition into their new home. The new home will allow residents to enjoy privacy and have access to common spaces for socialization and companionship - important to a happy, healthy life!
Interested in Volunteering?
St. Joseph's Care Group is recruiting caring, compassionate, and committed Volunteers to join our team for the following roles:
Greeter*
- Greet people as they arrive at HRM
- Escort new residents and their families within HRM
*Greeters must be able to walk and push wheelchairs and have good communication skills.
Home Area Assistant
- Provide orientation and tours of the home areas for residents and families.
- Assist residents with unpacking and organizing personal belongings.
- Assist staff in the home areas with resident and family needs.
Benefits to Volunteering
- Helping residents and assisting staff to make the transition for residents as comfortable as possible.
- Supporting the residents and their families through this change.
- Providing companionship and guidance to residents.
