Honouring the Volunteers Who Make a Difference Every Day
Volunteers are an important part of the care experience at St. Joseph's Care Group (SJCG). Whether it's offering a listening ear, sharing a moment of kindness, or simply being present, they help create meaningful connections with our clients, residents, and families.
In recognition of National Volunteer Week (April 19-25), SJCG proudly celebrates the individuals who generously give their time, compassion, and energy in support of the people we serve.
Throughout the week, volunteers welcomed members of our Leadership Team to share a glimpse into the everyday moments of care and connection they help create across our sites. The celebrations also included a special appreciation event, where volunteers came together to enjoy food, conversation, and entertainment.
We are especially pleased to congratulate Judy Soltys, recipient of the 2026 Sister Dolores Turgeon Volunteer Mission Award, in recognition of an incredible 45 years of dedicated service.
We extend our sincere thanks to all our volunteers for the compassion and commitment they bring to our community each day.
