HRM Project
Located on North Lillie Street, the Hogarth Riverview Manor Project is another example of our commitment to providing high quality, client-centred care to seniors in Northwestern Ontario. Once completed, Hogarth Riverview Manor will provide an integrated continuum of seniors' healthcare, in a modern, home-like environment for residents, their families, our staff and volunteers.
There are three stages to the HRM Project:
- Stage 1 is the 416 long-term care bed expansion of Hogarth Riverview Manor. Completion date: December 2015
- Stage 2 is the construction of the 'Link' between Sister Leila Greco Apartments and the new expansion
- Stage 3 is the addition of 32 long-term care beds to the existing Hogarth Riverview Manor home (an addition of eight beds per each of the four units). Completion date: 2016
HRM is not just a physical centre or space. It is the creation of a full spectrum of quality healthcare for seniors, through the integration and merging of many services. The improved physical environment will support and strengthen the excellence in seniors' care that is already being provided by St. Joseph's Care Group.

Construction is currently underway on the 416-bed long-term care expansion to HRM. Once completed in December 2015, the 262,000 square foot project will be one of the largest long-term care homes in Ontario. With a budget of $83.6 million, the seven-storey expansion has been designed in 32-bed home areas, each with an activity lounge to encourage and support socialization - key to a satisfying life experience for residents.
Stage 2
The Link
The Link is a structure joining the new HRM building to the adjacent Sister Leila Greco Apartments. The indoor hub will house a number of businesses and services that give residents access to a café, a shop, a salon, and healthcare offices.
Stage 3
The addition of 32 long-term care beds to Hogarth Riverview Manor
By centralizing all of these services and joining the homes together, St. Joseph's Care Group is able to increase the quality of life for our residents. This project is another example of our commitment to delivering the highest quality of compassionate care to our community.
