Peer Connections

Peer Connections offers emotional, social, and informational support to people who share similar experiences with Mental Health and/or Concurrent Disorders. We assist individuals to find a healthy balance in their recovery and to create meaningful connections.

Join Us

  • Are you living with a mental health and/or in recovery from substance use; and
  • Have a goal to find the healthy balance that meets your needs; and
  • Are ready to participate in goal oriented social interactions to support your recovery?

Support

  • Confidential informal and formal peer support with or without a referral
  • Non-judgmental engagement
  • Supporting inpatient rehabilitation
  • Connected to Mental Health Outpatient Program (MHOP)
  • Connected to Comprehensive Community Support Team (CCST)
  • Self-management and goal setting education and support
  • Recovery action plan creation and maintenance
  • Support for personal and system advocacy
  • Warm-Line: pre-crisis phone access to peer support Monday to Friday 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Phone: (807) 624-3400 ext. 3361
